This research organization houses the largest database of Near Death Experiences available for review today.  If you have experienced your own NDE and need some reassurance that you haven’t gone crazy, this is a great place to bookmark!  It took me a great deal of effort to personally accept what happened to me, and this was one of the first places I searched out.  The similarities gave me solace and helped me through the times when well meaning people in my life asked me how I could be so positive that what I was seeing wasn’t from Satan.

∞The International Association for Near Death Studies

This Association is headed by a group of clinicians dedicated to scientifically studying NDE’s.  They publish a peer-reviewed journal – Journal of Near Death Studies – and they host a two day conference dedicated to those seeking to better understand the Near Death Experience.  As a new member of the Association, I’ll be attending my first conference in September, so I’ll let you know how it goes!
