Resources

In order keep thing simple, I’ve posted all of the resources I quote anywhere on the site in this section.  It drives me crazy to have to sift through a bunch of posts to find the one tidbit of information I need, so if you’re like me, then this section is for you!

The resources are broken out by category, and you can find them by clicking on the appropriate section header under Pages (to the right), or by clicking on the links below.

Mentoring and Marketing contains the resources and partners I have used to gain a better understanding on Expert positioning, online marketing, sales, presentation skills, the success mindset, and motivation. I have been studying most of this stuff since 1989, and this group represents a very small portion of those I follow.  The reason for this is simple – these are the resources I TRUST for your personal growth because these are the resources that have repeatedly delivered amazing value, and more importantly, amazing results!

I’m a  WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) kind of girl, and that means that I believe in transparency and full disclosure. I need you to note the following symbols when you review my list of resources:

  • An asterisk (*) before the link means that I am an affiliate of the resource.  As an affiliate, I will receive a commission from anything you purchase when you connect through my site.  I think it’s important to note something that made me skeptical until I understood how the affiliate process worked.  I always thought that if I clicked on an affiliate link, I would pay a higher price than if I went to the resource directly.  That’s not true.  Your price for the product or service is not raised to compensate for the commission an affiliate receives.  You pay the same price for the product, no matter how you found the resource.  My partners are simply paying me out of their profits as a way to say “thank you” for the trust we have developed.  Believe me – if I don’t trust the resource, the resource isn’t on here.  (And, yes, we all encounter plenty of people we must work with and don’t trust – dead girls are no different.)
  • An infinity sign (∞) before the link means that I am a member of the resource. This means that I do not get paid; however, I do contribute and participate in conferences, seminars, meetings, and other offerings that the resource provides.
  • If you don’t see a symbol, it means that I have no “affiliation” with the resource.  HINT:  Just because there is no “affiliation”, do not assume there is no “relationship”.  In the online world, these are two totally different concepts.
