WOW! One of my absolute favorite movies is "The Little Princess" where this story is shared by the protagonist. Overcoming fear has been a focus of my recent journey, as well. Thanks for a well thought out article and reflection. (By the way, my 2nd favorite movie is "The Jungle Book" "Oh, I'm the king of the swingers, oh...the jungle VIP...) Instead of avoiding fears or trying to "manage" them, I have been leaning into them with force. Funny...once a fear is boldly faced, the anticipation of the event is always worse than the event itself (And 97% of the time, it never happens anyway). Prince Rama and the evil Ravana! WOW!
